Week 3
Day 18
In just 18 days we built a house from the ground up. Today we finished the entire house and dedicated it to the Lord. Read it »
Day 17
The last full day of work. Finishing of carpeting and trimming, and the start of clean up. Read it »
Day 16
Another great, very productive day. Tile is finished, kitchen cabinets are installed and power is turned on to the house. Read it »
Day 15
The sun was shining and temperatures and spirits were high. We installed doors, trim, and got all the tile laid. Read it »

Work consisted of installing inside doors and baseboard and window trim, outlets, switches, and tile. Read it »
Week 2
Day 13
After 22 hours on the road the third team of volunteers arrives. All mudding, texturing, and priming and most of the painting is done. Read it »
Day 11
Sheetrock is finished and several areas of the house already have two coats of mud. Grass seed was planted in the back yard. Read it »
Day 10
A continuation of general construction work - sheetrock, plumbing, varnishing trim and cleaning up yard. Electrical is finished. Read it »
Day 9
Insulation is finished and sheetrock is almost done. Work is continued on the varnishing of trim and windows and the yard is started. Read it »
Day 8
Great weather with some much needed dry air. All of HVAC is installed, insulation is about 75% of the way done and sheetrock is also started. Read it »

All heating and air conditioning systems are installed along with the start of wiring. The siding and fascia are fully completed. Read it »

Day 6
This project could not happen without the great support team both in Biloxi and at home doing everything from cooking and delivering food to giving haircuts. Read it »

In spite of gray skies and rain progress continues. The soffit and fascia are nearly completed and siding is already about 95% done. Read it »
